Rotkäppchen: The Blood of Red Riding Hood Unsigned Artist Contest
Unsigned artists get one of your songs in a movie and on a soundtrack.
Silver Spring, Maryland (PRWEB) June 1, 2009 -- Starting June 1st, Sparks Entertainment will give unsigned artists a shot at their big break by submitting their music for an online contest through online music community Sonicbids. A song from winning bands will be eligible for inclusion in the movie and on the soundtrack to Rotkäppchen: The Blood of Red Riding Hood.
Songs can be submitted for consideration at http://www.sonicbids.com/redridinghoodmovie2009. Genres include Pop, Rock, R & B, Hip Hop, and Jazz. From these initial submissions, winners will be chosen by members of the Sparks Entertainment staff and announced on July 20th.
"I am very excited about the Unsigned Artist Contest," says the movie's writer/director Harry Sparks. "Music will play an important part of this movie and I cannot wait to hear all of the wonderful submissions!"
Rotkäppchen: The Blood of Red Riding Hood is director Harry Sparks' epic, modern retelling of the classic fairy tale. The film was shot in Germany, Italy, Austria, Maryland and Pennsylvania and stars Stefanie Geils, Sativa Verte, Phil Gibson, Nicole Leigh Vuono, Chris O'Brocki, Betty Biehler, Sheena Norris, Kerri Taylor, Savannah Costello, Angelina Leigh and Debbie D, and will be released Halloween 2009.
