On deposits of £100,000 plus, rates of 3.00% gross/AER are available over two years or 2.75% gross/AER over 12 months. On deposits of £25,000 to £99,999, the two year bond pays 2.75% gross/AER, whilst over one year, the account pays 2.50% gross/AER.
The bonds mature on 30 June 2010 in the case of the one year product or 30 June 2011 in the case of the two year account. No withdrawals are allowed during the fixed rate term. Both bonds are limited issue offers and will be withdrawn when fully subscribed, so savers are advised to move quickly. The maximum deposit is £1m, but larger sums may be accepted, subject to negotiation.
