Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) June 2, 2009
iCan Benefit Group, a leading provider of access to affordable health insurance, is scheduled to appear on Pitchmen, a new Discovery Channel series, June 3rd at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
Pitchmen offers viewers a revealing look at the inventors behind the products we see every day on infomercials and the process that goes into creating the perfect "pitch." The 13-part series is co-hosted by two of the most popular and successful pitchmen in the industry, Billy Mays and Anthony "Sully" Sullivan. Each episode chronicles their efforts to discover the next bestselling product.
"Billy and our team work well together, and we are extremely excited about the opportunity to be featured on the show," said Ghen Sugimoto, Vice President of iCan Media. "Billy and Sully are renowned for the quality of the products they endorse; we're honored to have ours in the mix."
iCan Benefit Group began working with Billy Mays last year, marking the first time the master pitchman had diverted from home-based, maintenance goods and cleaning products to promote what he now calls "the most important product [he's] ever endorsed": affordable health insurance!
"We wanted to work with Billy because of his passion for the products he promotes," said Dee Halloran, Director of Media Strategy and Procurement at iCan. "He's not just an actor reading lines; he only pitches what he believes in. In our case, he trusts his family's health to iCan."
Pitchmen airs on the Discovery Channel, Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
