Animal Enthusiast Launches Comprehensive Pet Website
Recently launched website, YourPetsCount.com, is a unique combination of well-made products and imperative information. The site's latest feature is a new blog which debuted this month.
Edgewater, NJ (PRWEB) June 3, 2009 -- A key element that has made the internet so popular from all walks of life is the ease of readily available information. The downside of this, however, is that anyone who's had a tutorial of building a website can put whatever information they deem to be true or accurate, even if it's not. Jim Murphy is aware of this, which is why the pet enthusiast has well-researched information and his own experiences as the guiding forces behind his new web venture www.YourPetsCount.com.
"I've been a pet lover for years," Murphy explained. "When I look at some pet stores, it's just stuff, which doesn't make for the best overall resource. I wanted to create something that was useful and not just a shopping site."
Murphy started Your Pets Count in March of 2009 and it's well on its way to becoming one of the internet's premiere destinations for pet information and products.
The new site has a comprehensive catalog as a wide selection of dog carriers, cat beds and even a self cleaning litter box are included in the web store. Even though the site is still in its infancy, Murphy is already thinking about expanding his product line and its features.
"I'm going to add extra products and keep it up to date," he said. "I'd also like to add audio inserts with pet tips."
An advocate for finding homes for abandoned pets, Murphy has also started a new blog, www.ThePetProductGuru.com, which further extends his vision of having as much information as products.
"I want to have information and links available that will help with pet care and emergencies," he said.
As the site gains traction over the coming months, Murphy's goal is to steadily provide information and items that will help with the overall comfort of a pet, which, in turn, will help people become better care takers.
"I want to make it unique and provide information and supplies. It's the kind of website where they don't have to jump around," said Murphy. "I want to keep the information fresh and the people informed."
