Educators, Construction Engineers, Consultants and RFID Experts Join Forces In 'RFID In Construction Consortium' To Serve The Industry With Educational-Based Programs

New group launched on April 27, 2009 in Orlando, Florida elects board members and begins to develop industry programs.

Libertyville, IL (PRWEB) June 3, 2009 -- The RFID in Construction Consortium announced today the official formation of this global Consortium specifically designed to collaborate with the construction industry on the safe and effective use of Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID), Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC), sensors and associated wireless-based technologies.

The new board members have committed their real world expertise, research and proficiency in the formation of educational-based programs. "The Consortium includes is some of the best talents from around the world organized to provide the construction industry with the answers they need in order to streamline and improve their current business operations for cost saving and growth strategies." said Dr. Faria, Florida International University's Department of Construction Management.
