Washington, DC (PRWEB) June 3, 2009 –
Infohrm, the global leader in workforce planning, reporting and analytics solutions, today announced that the firm is featured in a new study on HR and workforce analytics by BusinessWeek Research Services.
The white paper, titled “HR Analytics: Gaining Insights for the Upturn”, published in May 2009 by BusinessWeek Research Services, discusses how leading-edge companies are making extensive use of data and analytics to drive human capital management decisions. Equipped with data-driven insights, progressive firms are able to challenge assumptions about workforce trends; analyze potential risks, threats, and opportunities for growth; and calculate the returns on investments in human capital.
For example, the study references the results of Infohrm’s Global Survey titled “Workforce Analytics: Creating a Discipline of Data-Driven Decisions” in which 53 percent of leading-edge companies (those using Analytics Centers of Excellence to identify the workforce drivers of business success) agree that workforce analytics has influenced revenue growth decisions, while 63 percent use analytics to make cost-savings decisions. This contrasts with non-leading-edge companies, of whom only 14 percent and 32 percent respectively use data to drive top- and bottom-line decisions.
“In today’s challenging economy, workforce analytics is crucial for making more informed short- and long-term financial and strategic decisions,” said Brian Kelly, President of Infohrm North America. “This study illustrates how organizations that partner with Infohrm are able to maximize the impact of human capital and communicate the hard dollar returns on their investments.”
