Certified Slings Wins Florida Business Award Presented by the International Business Council of Florida

Certified Slings, Inc. was one of the final winners of the Florida Business Award presented by the International Business Council of Florida (IBCF).

Casselberry, FL (PRWEB) June 4, 2009 -- Certified Slings, Inc. was one of the final winners of the Florida Business Award presented by the International Business Council of Florida (IBCF). The award was given to Certified Slings in recognition of the company's achievements and positive contributions over the last year in the business category of construction, building & heavy equipment.

The award was handed out to companies and organizations in 23 separate business categories ranging from; agricultural to technology including businesses engaged fields such as transportation, hotels, professional services, cruise lines and healthcare. Certified Slings beat out 5 other top finalists in their category to win the award at which according to IBCF is the largest award event ever presented in the State of Florida. Some of the other blue-chip winners included, Walt Disney World, SPIRIT Airlines, Royal Caribbean Cruises and The American Cancer Society.

Finalists were nominated by the IBCF's Strategic Alliance Partners that features leading business organizations and local chambers of commerce throughout the state. Final winners were determined by each nominated company's customers and affiliates voting on-line.

The award was accepted by Dennis Worswick, President of Certified Slings and presented by Jay (Jair) Almeida, President and CEO of the IBCF. The award ceremony was held at the Rusty Pelican in Key Biscayne, Florida on May 27, 2009.
