Majors approached Kolb about investing in the firm after taking a bike tour with Kolb earlier this year when looking for a Boulder property.

Pedal to Properties will expand its presence in Boulder immediately as the firm is looking for commercial space and to add agents in the downtown Boulder area. Formed in 2006, Pedal to Properties has grown 200 percent in the last two years, and today the company maintains 50 Electra Cruiser bikes at strategic locations throughout town. In addition, Pedal to Properties will explore strategies for opening branch offices in other markets nationwide in the coming year.

Majors helped Wooldridges, an educational superstore in Australia, grow from $5 million to $55 million over a decade, increasing this organization's footprint from one to 20 outlets throughout Australia. He has additional experience taking small capital businesses national. Originally from Perth, Australia, Majors was drawn to Boulder for the lifestyle and entrepreneurial business climate.
