New Camping Stove Website Debuts in Time for 2009 Outdoor Season
A new website, BestCampingStoves.com, has debuted recently marking the official start of the 2009 camping season. Recently, the site's founder sat down to talk about the importance of moving beyond baked beans.
Lakeland, FL (PRWEB) June 5, 2009 -- As the days are getting longer and warmer, people are starting to pack their coolers, clean their sleeping bags and are actively gearing up for another camping season. Technology has allowed people to move beyond a giant bonfire and canned beans and include actual meals. Thanks to a site like www.BestCampingStoves.com, this convenience will be available in time for the 2009 camping months.
"I've been camping all my life," said Jeff Maddox. "I wanted to do something that would help other campers, whether they are novice or experts."
Maddox is the proprietor of BestCampingStoves.com, which he launched in May 2009. Though the site is still new, it has a wide selection of camping amenities such like camping grills, portable heaters and, of course, camping stoves.
With all the experience that Maddox has behind him, he also has a corresponding blog that has simultaneously launched.
"The blog is a way for me to communicate some of the ideas that I have regarding cooking outdoors," he said of www.CampingStoveBlog.com.
Maddox is also encouraging others to chime in with their camping experiences through the blog's comments section.
Another feature he's currently researching is adding camping-related videos to the site ("It's still a long ways away, but it's fun to research and think about adding for the future," Maddox said).
While families and campers all around start taking stock of the gear they need, the grills on Maddox's site are no doubt going to be crucial for a turning a good vacation into a great one.
