SECAF Announces Two Additions to Board of Directors

Accounting, management and sales executives to serve the Small and Emerging Contractor Advisory Forum (SECAF)

The combined experience, insight and leadership of these new additions and the passion for the government contracting community they share will add value to our membership.

The Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF), the premier organization for the small and emerging government contractor, today announced the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors. Jack Hughes, former executive of Alion Science and Technology Corporation, and Paul Skurpski, of Pleasant Valley Business Solutions, will join the board of directors to help guide the organization through 2009 and into 2010.

SECAF's mission is to provide education, resources, and advocacy venues to serve the small and emerging government contractor community for the purpose of ensuring success and equal access to contracting opportunities.

Hughes is the former Executive Vice President and CFO of Alion Science and Technology Corporation where he was responsible for the planning, direction, and organization of financial and accounting functions. Hughes currently provides progressive leadership and management experience to fast growth organizations.

Skurpski serves as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Pleasant Valley Business Solutions, a company he co-founded. Skurpski has vast experience delivering and managing enterprise accounting and financial management solutions for government contractors and currently serves on SECAF's Communications Committee.
