Phoebe's Cupcakes™ (http://www.phoebescupcakes.com), a Chicago-based maker and marketer of gourmet cupcakes and other pastries, announced today the launch of a new breakfast cupcake, Phoebe's Pancake & Bacon Breakfast Cupcake™, a pancake flavored buttermilk cake soaked in maple syrup, topped with a maple cream frosting and fresh bacon, and a touch of cinnamon. The cupcake will be available in the morning from 8:00 to 11:00.
Phoebe's Cupcakes' Executive Pastry Chef Kate McNamara said, "With Phoebe's Cupcakes opening early in the morning, I created this cupcake specifically for our breakfast customers and to offer something different, with both a savory and sweet flavor." The Chicago bakery & café also offers cupcake shaped cinnamon rolls in the morning, along with regular cupcake offerings, and is in the process of developing scones also. McNamara indicated that the company will add one additional breakfast offering later this year.
Phoebe's Cupcakes rotates its 8 to 10 weekly flavors from more than 200 flavors, perhaps the largest number of flavors of cupcakes offered by any bakery in the world. All 200 flavors are always available for catered events, such as wedding cupcakes, parties and corporate events, and all 200 flavors are also available to wholesale customers. Phoebe's is also test marketing coffee for its breakfast menu, and will do a formal product launch for coffee, with a special promotion, sometime this summer.
Phoebe's Cupcakes is a multi-channel maker and marketer of gourmet cupcakes and other pastries, and sells its cupcakes through its Chicago location, through catered events, and to wholesale customers.
