The $1 deal is only available online, for a stay on the night of Saturday, June 20 to mark the winter solstice. Activities can be enjoyed on either 20 or 21 June so you can make a weekend of it!
The new official Christchurch & Canterbury website, is the only place to book these exclusive deals from Monday 8 June to Friday 19 June.
"With many of the region's tourism operators running their own promotions over the winter and Jetstar now offering more low-cost flights into Christchurch there's never been a better time to visit the region,'' Ms Prince says.
Joining the '$1 movement' - Canterbury's biggest ski-field, Mt Hutt, is auctioning a range of great deals for skiing and snowboarding with some auctions starting with a reserve price of $1.
The ski deals are also available where you can pick up a $1 adult pass or link off to the live auction. Auction items up for grabs, some of which have 'buy now' prices set, include lift passes, combo packs, lessons, rental gear, and retail items.
