Abundant Life Academy Announces New Internship Program
Abundant Life Academy (ALA) launches an internship program that includes paid and unpaid internships for graduating students.
Kanab, UT (PRWEB) June 7, 2009 -- Abundant Life Academy (ALA), a private Christian school for troubled teens announces a new internship program for current graduating students. The directors of Abundant Life Academy have been exploring ways to assist students as they graduate the program. After many hours of talking with graduates and their families, the directors decided on implementing two types of intern programs; the Enrolled Student Intern Program (for students 18 years of age and younger who are still enrolled in secondary school) and, the Employed Student Intern Program (for students 18 years of age and older who have completed their secondary schooling).
"We are encouraged about these programs. It is our way of showing these teens support as they prepare for adulthood and also give them the anchor they need to stay grounded, using the tools they have been provided with throughout the program," said Craig Rogers, CEO of Abundant Life Academy.
The Enrolled Student Intern Program is designed to help the student in their quest for positive changes in their life and to utilize their unique prospective and experience, helping ALA in their mission to affect other students. The Employed Student Intern Program is also designed to help the student in their quest for positive changes in their life and to utilize their unique prospective and experience, helping ALA in their mission to affect other students. The expectation of ALA, for both programs, would be that the student intern be exemplary in every aspect of the ALA program at all times.
Abundant Life Academy was founded in December 2000 by Craig Rogers as an alternative option for teens that are looking for their place in the world. The school is aimed to fulfill the lack of Christian leadership not found in most emotional growth and traditional boarding schools.
