Credit Union Launches Community-Based Website Focusing on Rebuilding Arizona's Economy
Arizona Central Credit Union recently introduced a new website called getAZmoving.org to focus on solutions for rebuilding the state's battered economy.
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) June 8, 2009 -- Arizona Central Credit Union recently introduced a new website called getAZmoving.org to focus on solutions for rebuilding the state's battered economy.
"The purpose of the website is to create a community for idea-sharing on how we can work together to rebuild the state's economy," said David Kexel, vice president of marketing for Arizona Central Credit Union.
As a locally-owned and -operated financial institution, Arizona Central executives feel the credit union can make a difference to the state's economy because the money the credit union lends and holds in deposits typically stays within Arizona.
"That's one reason we created the 'Get Connected' section of the website," said Kexel. "We are inviting other locally-owned and -operated business to share their story so we can post a link from getAZmoving.org to their website. It's one way we can support each other in our local economy's recovery."
The website also features a financial blog where credit union employees and guest bloggers share their thoughts and ideas on current topics relating to the economy. Another section, called "Get Answers," allows visitors to submit their financial questions, and a financial expert will respond by posting the question and answer on the website.
"While there is a lot going on at the national level regarding corporate bailouts and stimulus packages, we want to encourage the Arizona community to support one another so we can turn the economy around as quickly as possible," Kexel said. "We can make an impact locally."
