About Jose Hess:
Jose Hess is a master jeweler and craftsman and was trained in the European tradition in Colombia, South America. In 1951 he moved to New York City where he worked in creating models and hand crafted jewelry for renowned designers including David Webb. In the 1960's and beyond Jose Hess developed into an admired and respected contemporary American artist and designer. He has won 21 prestigious jewelry design awards and numerous De Beers Diamond awards, including the De Beers Diamonds International Award.
