Razorfish Names Marc Lucas Executive Creative Director

Lucas taking creative ideas to the next level with technology

New York, NY (PRWEB) June 11, 2009 -- Razorfish, one of the largest interactive marketing companies in the world, has promoted Marc Lucas to executive creative director of the Northeast region. In this role, he will oversee the creation of digital marketing programs and all advertising creative, including design and copywriting, from the agency's New York office.

During his time at Razorfish, Lucas has created innovative work for clients such as Starwood Hotels, Partnership for a Drug-Free America, Unilever and Terra Networks. His Starwood Hotels work for Westin's "Senses" campaign won a 2008 OMMA Member's Voice Award. Lucas has also been instrumental in winning new business for Razorfish from Mercedes-Benz USA, Panasonic, Forest Labs and the Travel Channel. He is also slated to be a judge for the 2009 IAB MIXX Awards in September.

Lucas has extensive global experience, leading creative teams for high-profile advertising agencies in New York, Hong Kong and the Philippines including SS+K, Ogilivy and Chiat/Day. His work has earned awards from shows such as The One Show, Cannes Advertising Festival, Communication Arts and Asia-Pacific Adfest. In addition, Lucas previously served as chairman of the Hong Kong 4A's Creative Committee, co-chairman of the Asian Advertising Awards and sat on juries for the Art Director's Club and the AICP.
