Laser Hair Treatment Clinic to offer DNA Hair Loss Testing

Hair Loss Control Clinic (HLCC) now offers genetic DNA hair testing to both men and women. The testing will determine whether the individual is susceptible to male or female pattern hair loss - long before the symptoms begin showing. A laser hair treatment program can be started to prevent hair loss.

Latham, NY (PRWEB) June 12, 2009 -- Hair Loss Control Clinic (HLCC), a worldwide leader in providing laser hair treatment solutions to hair loss, is pleased to introduce to their services a new and effective tool in the prevention and treatment of genetic hair loss.

HLCC now offers Genetic DNA hair testing to both men and women. The testing will determine whether the individual is susceptible to Androgenetic Alopecia - male or female pattern hair loss - long before the symptoms begin showing. If the DNA tests indicate the individual is susceptible to hair loss, a laser hair treatment regimen can be started early to prevent hair loss before it happens. For example, a women who tests a strong positive may have an almost ninety-eight percent chance of severe hair loss, and a man might have a seventy percent chance of going bald.

"This service is going to be one of our most important weapons in our arsenal against hair loss," said Bill Blatter, President and CEO of HLCC. "The best time to treat hair loss is before it occurs and now we have a tool that basically predicts your hair loss in time for us to stop it or slow it down with a laser hair therapy program."

New York-based HLCC boasts 91 locations worldwide and offers individualized and customized hair loss solutions with an emphasis on laser hair treatments that include hand-held laser brushes, laser combs as well as Laser hair loss therapy whereby the client visits the clinic in order to receive treatment under a large clinic laser. HLCC also distributes its own patented and physician-developed Scripps treatment program that works in conjunction with a low-level laser hair therapy program.

"It is extremely rare for a hair loss clinic to be able to offer this service," says Blatter. "Because we have actual physicians on staff directing our laser hair treatment programs, we're allowed to offer this important service. We're thrilled for our clients."

HLCC physician Dr. Michael Fuhrman agrees. "Obviously, the earlier anyone can predict this type of genetic hair loss, the easier it will be to save the hair. Especially when we approach the treatment with laser hair therapy along with our other proprietary formulas that have been proven to regrow hair."

The genetic DNA hair test is available at most HLCC locations worldwide and can be ordered by calling 1-877-452-2123 or by visiting HLCC's website at http://www.hlcconline.com.

About Hair Loss Control Clinic: HLCC is the recognized industry leader in providing state-of-the-art laser hair treatment services and products through their 91 affiliated clinics in 20 countries for over 20 years.
