Liverpool Arabic Arts festival will present the very best in music, film, food, dance, literature and family activities with a weekend of celebrations between July 17th and 19th.

Salford, Manchester (PRWEB) June 14, 2009 -- Liverpool Arabic Arts festival will present the very best in music, film, food, dance, literature and family activities with a weekend of celebrations between July 17th and 19th.

A wide range of different venues around the city will be taking part in the event, including National Museums Liverpool, the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall and Fact, meaning that visitors staying in one of the many Liverpool hotels (http://www.laterooms.com/en/k16294936_liverpool-hotels.aspx) should have no problem getting involved in the action.

The centrepiece of the weekend is undoubtedly the Family Day, which will be held in the Bluecoat art space.

Events due to take place at the facility during the festival include the recreation of a typical Arabian bazaar, which will be set up amid live musical performances, storytelling, workshops for children and adults alike, stalls, food and poetry.

The organisers state: "Music is prominent throughout the Arabic Weekender and highlights include a fantastic double bill concert at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall from celebrated Syrian musician Abdullah Chhadeh and Anglo-Egyptian singer Natacha Atlas."

A great number of the events over the course of the weekend are completely free of charge, while others require a ticket. Passes are on sale now and vary in price depending on the performance being attended.

Standard doubles inclusive of breakfast are available from £75 a night at the Holiday Inn Liverpool. This hotel has been awarded a 3 star rating. It's located directly in the city centre, meaning it is within easy reach of the Liverpool Arabic Arts festival.
