Taylor Publishing Company bridges the technology gap and adds more excitement to students' yearbook experience with online interactive yearbooks

Students want a way to organize and save their memories, photos, conversations and reflections, in a secure common environment. Cliq-in provides a vehicle for individual expression

Taylor Publishing Company in partnership with Screen 5ive Inc. is pleased to announce release of its 2009 online interactive yearbooks as part of its school community program called Cliq-in. This Cliq-in program allows students to create and share school-related content with other students and the yearbook staff in a secured and moderated environment. By combining the best of traditional print yearbooks with the immediacy of social media networks, Taylor Publishing Company is bridging the technology gap for yearbooks. Taylor Publishing Company is a division of American Achievement Corporation.

Each school that participates in the program receives an online interactive yearbook and access to a secured intranet portal that enables students, faculty and staff to communicate within the school community. In addition, students are able to connect with the print yearbook by submitting pictures and quotes to the staff throughout the year using tools within the Cliq-in portal.

"Students want a way to organize and save their memories, photos, conversations and reflections, in a secure common environment. Cliq-in provides a vehicle for individual expression," said Gary Gallivan, Vice President of Marketing for Taylor Publishing Company. "Cliq-in also offers a platform for each school to showcase school activities, academic achievements and athletic accomplishments throughout the entire year," Gallivan said.

Taylor Publishing Company selected a number of schools to pilot Cliq.in and the online interactive yearbook program in 2009. If members of the press would like secured access to view the 2009 interactive yearbooks, please contact Taylor Publishing Company.
