Sydney, NSW (PRWEB) June 16, 2009 -- Leading Business Magazine, Australia's Best, have confirmed the inclusion of Plunkett Homes in their latest edition, released in June 2009.
Established over a century ago, Plunkett Homes has designed and built thousands of homes for people along the West Coast of Australia, building a reputation for loyalty and quality along the way.
Maintaining its position at the forefront of the industry, Plunkett Homes provides clients with innovative and award winning designs, united with construction quality and staff that provide a unique personalised customer service experience.
The company has an extensive range of designs that are aimed at suiting a variety of lifestyle choices. The Urban Living series caters for those who have adapted a more suburban lifestyle whilst the Country Style Range provides exciting designs for those clients with a larger space to build. The City Living collection allows clients an assortment of single and double storey homes suitable for smaller city blocks. The Domain Homes brand is a division of Plunkett Homes especially created to assist first home owners in being able to break into the property market with its own specific range of homes.
The Plunkett Project team specialises in unit developments both in Perth and South West WA. The team aims to assist clients with every request, guiding them along every step of the development process. The talented group has the experience necessary to deliver successful projects in time and on budget.
Due to the nature of their business, Plunkett Homes are heavily reliant on production. "Production is how we make our money and it is where we draw our income from," comments Darren Lane, Plunkett Homes Pricing and Purchasing Manager. "We do not have a situation whereby we can access a stockpile of materials that can be constantly drawn upon. The difference with the housing process is the fact that we still need to keep drawing on that pool but we rely on suppliers to supply it."
To combat this problem Plunkett Homes likes to work with suppliers from word go to establish a relationship based on two-way loyalty. "I treat purchasing as more of a selling job," Darren explains. "When I am talking to a supplier I treat it more as though I am selling Plunkett to them rather than they are selling their product to me. I try and prove why we should be the ones to benefit from their product. This develops a strong relationship right from the outset."
