Knowledge Infusion Gives Back Through KI Volunteers and the KI Foundation
Philanthropic programs support employee-driven community service efforts and corporate fundraising activities.
Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) June 15, 2009 -- Knowledge Infusion, a leading provider of strategic advisory and consulting services focused on HR, talent management, and emerging technology solutions today announces the launch of the company's volunteerism and philanthropy program. The program consists of KI Volunteers and the KI Foundation, dedicated to support local community service efforts as well as charities, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions around the world.
KI Volunteers is the company-wide volunteer program where employees coordinate community service activities and fundraising events in their local regions. Through KI Volunteers, employees are supported with financial resources and community service goals to enable active and frequent participation in philanthropic activities.
KI Foundation supports Knowledge Infusion's efforts to team with charities, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions around the world to support innovative programs aimed at spurring educational advancement, environmental and public policy, advancement in science, and community development. Through the KI Foundation, Knowledge Infusion will raise funds and awareness for innovative programs while contributing donations and grants to support continuous development of the programs.
"When this organization was founded, we chose the name Knowledge Infusion because we wanted to infuse knowledge not only in the HR community, but in every facet that we could touch to make a difference in the lives of others," said Jason Averbook, CEO and co-founder of Knowledge Infusion. "While Knowledge Infusion and our employees have always had an active culture of volunteerism and giving back, we are proud to formally launch these initiatives and look forward to sharing the impact of our activities."
"As a virtual organization, Knowledge Infusion has employees, partners, and customers across the country, KI Volunteers and the KI Foundation bring great opportunity for us to reach out in our own communities and make a difference in the lives of others," said Heidi Spirgi, President and co-founder of Knowledge Infusion.
The KI Volunteer program will launch its first events in July, where regional Knowledge Infusion employees, families, partners, and customers will give back in their communities across the country.
