Kurgo® Products is proud to announce a new pink version of its Tru-Fit Smart Harness and Wander Leash. This is a simple to use walking and car safety harness that provides a comfortable, secure way to travel. Kurgo would like consumers to know that they will be donating 5% of profits from each Pink Tru-Fit Smart Harness sold, to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
"We enjoy helping in any way that we can. Given the research showing exercise may help reduce the likelihood of breast cancer, it only seemed right to contribute a portion of our proceeds towards the fight against this disease," said Kurgo co-founder and Tru-Fit Smart Harness designer Kitter Spater. "The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is an amazing organization raising essential funds needed for research and awareness studies in leading medical centers worldwide."
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is a (501) (C) (3) not-for-profit organization. Established officially in 1993, the BCRF has increased its annual funding level more than 200 times over. The organization holds many different fundraising events every year including breast cancer walks and runs. The American Cancer Society attributes improved breast cancer survival rates to a healthy lifestyle, and studies prove that exercise may help prevent the disease at all ages. Here at Kurgo we believe in the power of fitness and feel that dogs positively impact this in our everyday lives. Not only do they inspire one to get up-and-out, but studies show they help build an overall better quality of life.
Kurgo is happy to have the new Pink Tru-Fit Smart Harness join the long list of Breast Cancer Research Foundation contributors, and believes this program will be a great success.
