cleverbridge Releases Updated E-Commerce Platform
E-Commerce Service Provider’s Latest Platform Update Provides Enhancements to its Order Process, Management Application, and Affiliate & Partner Services.
Cologne, Germany (Vocus/PRWEB ) June 16, 2009 -- cleverbridge, a provider of advanced e-commerce solutions, today announced that it has released several updates to its industry leading e-commerce platform. Encompassing both client requests and cleverbridge’s vision for continuing to improve e-commerce, the updates are designed to help clients simplify remote submission of details to order process links, to more efficiently administer e-commerce tasks, and to streamline relationships with affiliate and partners.
Maintaining a strictly layered architecture, cleverbridge’s e-commerce platform facilitates worldwide online transaction processing for scores of software vendors. Using its e-commerce management application, the Commerce Assistant, cleverbridge clients can self-manage countless day-to-day e-commerce tasks, including managing partners and affiliates, accessing real-time sales data, and testing marketing tactics.
The recent platform updates include:
| | - Adding Data to Order Process Links: Using internal databases, clients now have greater flexibility for submitting product IDs and discount offers to order process links through cleverbridge’s APIs. For instance, clients can now use their own product ID or SKU to remotely “call-up” an order process instead of using a cleverbridge-assigned product ID.
- Affiliate Commissions for Subscription Products, Mass Pricing Updates, and Client-Defined Security: cleverbridge clients can easily configure whether or not an affiliate should receive a commission for future subscription billing events, perform mass-pricing updates to their product catalogs, and control user login variables (such as password complexity and expiration dates).
|
| | - Simplified Registration, Affiliate Parameters, and Partner Login Pages: Existing affiliates can register with other clients without having to create a new account or contact cleverbridge; clients can also add parameters to affiliate signup links to track origination sources; and partners can now directly login to client-defined product lists pages to expedite routine purchases.
|
“The scope of these updates impacts many of the features that our clients have come to depend on to maximize product sales and to operate more efficiently,” said Martin Trzaskalik, CTO of cleverbridge. “These updates add functionality to our APIs, extend our subscription billing capabilities, tighten access controls, and can help clients improve partner and affiliate management. We know that our clients demand a lot from our solution and we are dedicated to making improvements so that our clients can continue to be successful.”
