Having committed to Recyc-Québec's 'Ici on Recycle' program, which seeks to recognize establishments that conserve our environment's resources, Rideau has been certified with a level 3 – performance. Level 3 – performance is the highest level awarded by the program and requires a high standard of reducing, reusing and valuing of waste produced.

Thanks to Rideau's environmental group, EcoAction, the company is currently recovering 90.5% of the recoverable waste material. EcoAction's year-long dedication to the environment has already put into place numerous measures to ensure that they reduce their ecological footprint on our environment.

Their efforts include; a thorough recycling program, weekly lunchtime workshops on environmental issues, installing filtered water coolers and eliminating individual water bottles, distributing fair trade products to employees, using Ecologo certified cleaning products and replacing all paper products for 100% recycled and FSC certified.
