New Camping Cookware Website Brings More than S'Mores to the Campfire
Summer is near and new upstart web venture, FreshAirCampCooking.com has a unique selection of camping cookware that will add a little bit of extra flavor and spice to the outdoors experience.
Lititz, PA (PRWEB) June 19, 2009 -- Ah, the campfire. The image of the well-structured central blaze is best conjured along with someone's dad strumming an acoustic guitar, while the rest of the family sings along and discarded cans of franks and beans take up space near the logs that everyone is sitting on. As picturesque as this idea is, in a modern context, technology has rendered a camping trip of just franks and beans to become somewhat obsolete.
A web store like www.FreshAirCampCooking.com is indicative of the changing times and is allowing people to eat a little bit better with new camping stoves and other types of camping cookware.
"Personally, I love to camp," said Linda Ewing, "and I love to cook, so it seemed natural to specialize in cast iron cookware for campers."
Ewing is the proprietor of Fresh Air Camp Cooking. She launched the site in May 2009, as people began preparing for the upcoming camping season. Now with the summer horizon, people are looking to her selections of high quality (and affordable) cookware.
"We follow through with good products and we have honest company policies," she said.
Providing premiere customer service and great products, Ewing has also added a new blog to her site. The blog will allow her to review some of the products on her site, as well as some recipes for people to try out this summer.
"Going camping can change your outlook on cooking and it can become an eating adventure," Ewing said of www.CastIronCookingGuru.com. "In fact, I talked to a former classmate who made angel food cake while camping. These are the kinds of recipes that I think people will find on the blog."
As the summer approaches rapidly, Ewing looks to the future of her site to provide something beyond the canned foods and S'Mores that have long become synonymous with the great outdoors.
"The pieces I've put on the site are essential for the camping experience. These are great ways to try something new for your meals," she said.
