Kipton Cronkite and associates introduce a blog site that delivers the fast track to art, culture, and metropolitan living.

Last month, KiptonART made its first foray into the blogosphere with a daily chronicle on international art and commerce, peppered with updates on in-house development. Every day, founder Kipton Cronkite and his cohorts will post the most vital, up-to-the-minute annals on fine art, entertainment, business, style, and society news. The blog is conceived as a virtual cheat-sheet that plies readers with topical material and gets beyond the gobbledygook of more traditional blogs. With entries limited to a few sentences, KiptonART has codified a format that allows for quick and easy retention, tailored for the heavy-hitting professional who is constantly running a time deficit, yet has a lust for popular currency. "The goal is to serve our online visitors with blow-by-blow descriptions of what's happening on the contemporary arts scene(s) in Manhattan, as well as other cultural centers, and on some wavelength, reflect society back to itself," says Cronkite. "You'll have the luxury of reading the KiptonART daily blog in a matter of minutes, walk away feeling nourished and more urbane, and have plenty of great gab for work and play, besides."

Recurring topics will include major museum and gallery openings; art at auction; spotlight interviews with up-and-coming artists, industry buffs, and who's who; plus, backstories on some of the most exclusive events around the globe. "What distinguishes this blog from its antecedents is not only the concise execution, but also the firsthand reporting," says Cronkite. "Our bloggers are a savvy, well-connected bunch with direct access to the subjects they're covering, so you're really getting the inside scoop from people who are part of these ilks and live what they write, rather than a soft-focus recap--which you can find, really, on any blog of this category."
