GBK (GBK Productions, LLC) Hosts 'Giveable Gift Lounge and Upscale Loft' in Honor of 2009 BET Awards Nominees, Presenters and Performers
Invited celebrities, VIPs, and Media will have an opportunity to experience, luxury brands, while making a difference and giving back to a variety of charities.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) June 23, 2009 -- GBK (www.gbkproductions.com), the luxury lifestyle gift lounge and special events company, will be hosting the backstage festivities again at this year's 2009 BET Awards. Nominees, Presenters, and Performers will have the opportunity to walk through this 'Giveable Gift Lounge' on June 26th - 28th at the Shrine Auditorium. GBK will offer its exclusive list of invited celebrities, VIPs, and Media an opportunity to experience, luxury brands, while making a difference and giving back to a variety of charities. The charities that will be present this year include, Educating Young Minds, Somaly Mam Foundation, and Lamp Community. Each will have an opportunity to speak to the celebrities and educate them about their cause. In addition, they too will receive all of these products that they can auction off to raise additional funds for their cause.
The Highlight Charity of the Lounge will be Lamp Community. This was also the charity featured in the Movie 'The Soloist", staring Jamie Foxx - host of the BET Awards this year. This charity in particular will be receiving almost every element used in this New York Style Loft, from the wood flooring, to the curtains, to the furniture and everything in between. They will be able to use all of these items in their housing communities for the homeless. This is truly a complete 'Giveable Gift Lounge'!
