"It was important for us to distinguish the different types so that people can find the camera that suits them best," Leipprandt explained.
Having already spent years as the go-to camera aficionado for his friends and family, Leipprandt often finds himself fielding advice, which has lead to the creation of a facet of his site and its corresponding blog, www.DigitalReflectionsChat.com.
"I'm going to be answering questions and give tips on better pictures," he said.
Leipprandt is also working on e-books that will aid burgeoning photographers ("The basics of photography and theory are still applicable even if the technology to bypass that is available," he explained).
DriveBy-Shootings.com may be a new web venture, but Leipprandt's experience and knowledge of photography has allowed the creation of a site that is reliable, as well as complete, which is much better than something of other websites out there.
