Sky News Panel Relaunches with New Recruitment Campaign
Sky News has today relaunched its successful online research group, the Sky News Panel, introducing a new improved user website supported by an online and TV recruitment campaign to attract new panel members.
(PRWEB) June 25, 2009 -- The Sky News Panel offers a platform for viewers to express their opinions on a range of topical issues that could directly affect them, providing Sky News with instant access to public opinion and enabling it to get closer to its audience.
The new site, developed in partnership with leading digital research specialist, eDigitalResearch, features improved navigation, more in-depth surveys, and a new feedback area for members to see results of earlier surveys and quick polls.
Commenting on the re-launched site, Simon Bucks, Associate Editor, Sky News, said, "The Sky News Panel has always been a good way for us to interact directly with viewers and the upgraded site will make this powerful tool even more valuable. When panel members tell us what they think about topical issues, we can then use their input to contribute to our reporting across all our news platforms. Ultimately it helps us understand what our viewers want to see and, what the important issues are to them. We're looking forward to working with new panel members and getting even more out of the new and improved site."
Michelle Fuller, Director, eDigitalResearch, adds, "We have worked closely with Sky News over the past six years to develop its user panel product. It is a tailored system that enables the news team to keep their finger on the pulse of public opinion. Research can be conducted as and when Sky requires and the results are instant. It is a really smart use of digital research and we are proud to have developed the next generation Sky News Panel."
