Plus I used to be really involved in paintball when I was young and it sounded fun as a business."
While many are taking a step back and passing up opportunities for growth, Prolific Industries is still advancing forward albeit cautiously. They feel that when people become overly cautious it provides the perfect opportunity to accentuate your strengths and gain market share. Prolific Industries plans to use the same recipe for success that they used to build their massage stone supply into a very respectable business venture.

While they don't have a retail walk-in facility they do offer a full line of paintball gear, markers and other accessories through their website www.ProlificPaintball.com. They offer a full line of products from all of the major manufactures, carrying such popular markers as the Tippmann A5, the Invert Mini, the Spyder MR1, and the Smart Parts Ion to name a few.
With more than 15 vendors, having literally thousands of items to handle, this is no small feat. "It has been challenging to get all of the products with descriptions and photos ready for the launch of the website. As we grow the business, we will continue to listen to customers as to what they would like to see us add to our website," says Chris Turley. "Having inventory in stock and ready to ship the day we get the order is very important to us," continues Chris.
While carrying such a wide variety of products and keeping them in inventory can tie up a fair amount of capital, it is important to do so for customer satisfaction. "We eventually want to carry a wide enough product offering to satisfy a great majority of paintball players' needs, everything from entry level guns to the mid-level Ion XE marker to the high-end tournament guns, all of the well-known paintball brands and the new comers such as the Pinokio Hopper, offering accessories and gear for both speedball and woodsball, just about everything you can think of to do with paintball," comments Chris.
With very little capital being required for starting this new venture in the paintball industry they have been able to focus almost all of their dollars on purchasing inventory and promoting their website. Fortunately they have warehouse space to dedicate a portion of it to paintball products, sharing it with the massage stone processing and fulfillment equipment, additional warehouse expense is eliminated. Although they expect to be hiring more warehouse personnel and office staff in the near future, their plans have been put in motion with the staff they currently have. By building on there proven model for success Prolific Industries intends to not only survive these tough economic times but to come out ahead, ready for the next economic upswing.
