The Broadjam 6-Pack ( http://www.broadjam.com/6pack ) is a songwriting competition that consists of six individual songwriting challenges taking place between June and November of 2009. From best overall song to best spiritual song, each challenge increases in difficulty, testing the skills of even the most versatile writer.
The first of the 6-Pack challenges, a general songwriting challenge titled "Get Lubed," is in review. Contest entrants and other members will review the contest song entries and vote for their favorites by using Broadjam's voting mechanism. After the first round of votes have been collected, Broadjam will launch the 6-Pack Leaderboard, which is a scoreboard that anyone can view to see who is in the lead. Over the upcoming weeks, the remaining challenges will also be opened for review.
Four challenges are open for submission. The final two challenges, the most difficult, are not open until July, and their themes have yet to be revealed. This year, over $85,000 in prizes are on the line! Prize packages are awarded to three winners in each challenge plus 20 overall winners.
