Jewelry Designer Says NO to Button Pushing and Inspires Others
At one point or another, we've all been in situations where someone has tried very hard to push our buttons--and that kind of person stops at nothing to do just that! Jewelry designer, Stephanie White, of Katy, Texas had the misfortune of dealing with such a person. But little did the "button pusher" know that while he was doing all he could to wreak havoc in White's life, she was in the process of creating a new line of jewelry designs resulting from his negativity!
Katy, TX (PRWEB) June 28, 2009 -- At one point or another, we've all been in situations where someone has tried very hard to push our buttons--and that kind of person stops at nothing to do just that! Jewelry designer, Stephanie White, of Katy, Texas had the misfortune of dealing with such a person. But little did the "button pusher" know that while he was doing all he could to wreak havoc in White's life, she was in the process of creating a new line of jewelry designs resulting from his negativity!
My BeadLoved Button Jewelry Designs
Stephanie White established her jewelry store, SWCreations almost ten years ago. She creates handcrafted beaded jewelry designs, and has found great joy and success doing business with people on the internet. She enjoys creating jewelry, but also takes pleasure in the customer service aspect of her business. But three years ago, one man attempted to steal that joy away from her when he began harassing her ruthlessly and making false claims about her and her business.
After five months of harassment and frustration, she realized she needed to do something creative to deal with this stressful situation. Not only was it affecting her personally, but it was also directly impacting her business and finances. That's when she came up with the idea of her My BeadLoved Buttons. For White, they were a symbol to "own your own button."
"It was the creativity that helped me battle the negativity and stress," says White, "…and it also helps to have a reminder in difficult moments that it is my choice to not respond."
After she came up with the idea she purchased her first jar of vintage buttons from an antique store, and created her first pendant. She kept it as a reminder of her lesson learned. "I still cannot believe all of this happened, but I do believe everything happens for a reason," says White. Now she shares her story with anyone who is interested, in the hopes that she can inspire others to "own their own buttons."
