New Tennis Website 'Serves' Up Premium Equipment and Tips

Sports upstart website TennisAllStar.com launched its new blog recently and the site's owner sat down to discuss his love of the game and how he hopes to turn people on to the sport with the new site and its sister blog.

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) June 28, 2009 -- Despite its worldwide appeal, it's difficult for Americans to keep abreast of the goings-on in tennis. While many people stateside focus on baseball, football and basketball, tennis is often relegated to quick mentions on sports recap shows. The internet, however, has allowed people the luxury of keeping up with the Wimbledon crowd.

The tennis equipment website, www.TennisAllStar.com, is one such venture that has allowed people the opportunity to be aware of the latest break through gear in the sport of tennis.

"Over the years, I've seen tennis change, but I've been able to keep up with the changes," said Ronald Gaines, the force behind TennisAllStar.com.

Gaines is a longtime tennis player and launched the website in April 2009.

"I've learned a lot over the many years I've been playing and I'd like the chance to pass down my experience to others," Gaines said. "Not only will this be for people who already play tennis, but I hope that it will attract new people to the sport."

Tennis All Star focuses on information about the sport and also has its own web store that features some of the best tennis rackets, tennis balls and assorted other equipment on the market.

In addition to what appears on the site, Gaines has also built a new blog that has even more tennis tips.

"The blog will address the kinds of equipment people should use and some techniques that will help new and advanced players," Gaines said of www.ProTennisChat.com.

As the site continues to grow and new people discover tennis everyday, Gaines is adamant that his personal enthusiasm for the sport will stay in tact.

"Everyone is constantly working on their game," he said. "What sets us apart from other websites that are just online to sell is that we have the passion for the game. We have a personal touch that goes beyond price points."
