Michael Knight Earns 30th Journalism Award

Knight, host of The Race Reporters on VoiceAmerica's Power Up Motorsports Channel, has won both gold and bronze journalism medals in the 2008 International Automotive Media Awards

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) June 30, 2009 -- Michael Knight, host of The Race Reporters on VoiceAmerica.com's PowerUpChannel, won gold and bronze journalism medals in the 2008 International Automotive Media Awards. This brings Knight's career total of journalism awards to 30.

Knight won a gold medal in the Personality Profile category for a story he wrote on Dale Earnhardt Jr. that was published in the Arizona Republic in April, 2008. He earned a bronze medal in the Commentary category for his SpinDoctor500 blog. It's the second consecutive year Knight has received gold and bronze medals in the IAMA competition.

Knight also has received several other motorsports industry awards, including the inaugural Jim Chapman Award in 1991 for excellence in motorsports public relations; and the inaugural Bob Russo Founders Award in 2005 for contributions to the sport.
