Educated and trained at some of the most prestigious and respected medical institutions in the United States, including the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Kjar has made a career of helping people achieve the look they want, from minor skin rejuvenation procedures to major aesthetic enhancement surgeries such as facelift and breast augmentation. Dr. Kjar utilizes years of experience in reconstructive and plastic surgery, coupled with top training in craniofacial and plastic surgery he received at the Mayo Clinic to repair cleft lips, cleft palates, and other facial deformities free-of-charge for indigent young people. These surgeries not only give much-needed care to those who either can’t afford it or do not have access to it, it provides them with an enhanced appearance and, hopefully, a greater self-esteem. Dr. Kjar is one of thousands of medical volunteers around the world who participate in Operation Smile’s mission to bring treatment to those in need.

Magee Jr. and his wife, Kathleen, a nurse and social worker, the worldwide children’s medical charity has a presence in 51 countries and operates more than 25 International Medical Missions a year. Operation Smile gives full medical evaluations to an average of 300-500 children over a two-week period, and surgically treats an average of 100 to 150 children. The organization also conducts conferences, workshops, and other programs to give educational opportunities to doctors who live within partner countries that can help meet the needs of healthcare workers and local facilities.
