This book includes poetry that blends the descriptive narrative sense of Whitman in with the metaphoric tones of Frost. Mix in the elusive verse of Milton, and you find all is not lost.

Author Bob Mitchley has published his first book entitled "Breaking Through," a new poetry compilation. The book was published, says the author, "to remind everyone how their existence is enhanced by the loving and powerful touch of God, whose presence can be sensed in every season of their lives."
"In this era of change, coming at us from all directions, our hope seems to fizzle away under a much hotter sun," said Mitchley. "But there is hope, all is not lost, peace and rest can be found in the midst of our life storms. God is breaking through to you, but only if you let Him."
Mitchley said he feels the book provides an inspiring and reflective reading experience.
"'Breaking Through' is a poetry compilation specially written to remind people why they exist and why the almighty God is watching them," he said. "These poems discuss many relevant topics, like the fragility of humanity and the emotions that drive us, along with the spirituality that exists in our world, and how man relates with God and why man continues to keep searching for meaning."
Mitchley continued: "This book includes poetry that blends the descriptive narrative sense of Whitman in with the metaphoric tones of Frost. Mix in the elusive verse of Milton, and you find all is not lost."
About the Author:
First-time author Bob Mitchley's book, called "Breaking Through," consists of an array of inspirational and reflective poems based on personal experiences and his faith. Mitchley's second book, "Having It Out," is scheduled for publication in the near future.
