BCT, North America's largest wholesale printing company with over 60 plants located across North America continues to upgrade technology. In 2008 and into this year BCT plants have added 4 Ryobi 750 series printing presses. These are in addition to the 20+ DI's that have been providing short run full color work to their clients for almost 10 years. This continuing trend toward high quality digital output is most recently being addressed by with Canon and the 7000 series imagePRESS. During 2008 and 2009 six of the Canon 7000's have been added to the system serving every region of the country. With UV coating available at most locations, BCT plants are finding new niches in advertising agencies as well.

"The addition of the Canon C7000VP imagePRESS has allowed us to expand quickly and profitably into digital printing," says Mark Kilchenman, owner BCT Minneapolis and BCT Wisconsin. "We are able to offer customers lower pricing, improved turnaround time and greater flexibility for short run printing than we could utilizing traditional offset four color process printing." He adds "in today's economic environment, being able to bring good news to your customers is a real positive."

The added production capacity is necessary to meet the increasing volumes of orders received via BCT's Orderprinting.com web to print solution. "The broker community has embraced our technology, and is finding it to be an excellent solution for their major corporate accounts," says Pete Posk, BCT's President. He adds that "in having plants in every UPS shipping zone, and most major markets, we've been successful at maintaining personal service at the local level while producing huge quantities of work overnight."

BCT's web to print solutions are currently being utilized by thousands of customers every day. Having initiated these solutions in the late 90's, they are presently firmly established and providing excellent solutions as stand alone or as punch out integrations for many national organizations. They've proven to be among the most stable platforms available anywhere.
