BusterSports.com Seeks Homegrown Talent for New College Sports Site - Big Ten web Standouts MAYORMCCHEEZ and AUTUMNTHUNDER Make Published "Wanted" Recruit List

BusterSports.com Seeks Homegrown Talent for New College Sports Site - Big Ten web standouts MAYORMCCHEEZ and AUTUMNTHUNDER make published "wanted" recruit list. Having assembled an impressive roster of former NCAA coaches, including Terry Donahue (UCLA), Tommy Bowden (Clemson), Tommy Tuberville (Auburn), Dennis Franchione (Texas A&M), Glen Mason (Minnesota) and Mike Gottfried (Pittsburgh) to provide commentary, insight and fan interaction throughout the year, BusterSports.com is embarking on a first-ever nationwide fan recruitment effort.

Raleigh, NC (PRWEB) July 1, 2009 -- Having assembled an impressive roster of former NCAA coaches, including Terry Donahue (UCLA), Tommy Bowden (Clemson), Tommy Tuberville (Auburn), Dennis Franchione (Texas A&M), Glen Mason (Minnesota) and Mike Gottfried (Pittsburgh) to provide commentary, insight and fan interaction throughout the year, BusterSports.com is embarking on a first-ever nationwide fan recruitment effort.

Buster Sports has created a series of "wanted" posters highlighting top prospects active on their favorite team's message board. Two all-stars from the Big Ten were selected as top recruits: MAYORMCCHEEZ, a Penn State Nittay Lions fan and AUTUMNTHUNDER, a University of Michigan Wolverines fan, both made the wanted list. "The recruits representing the Big Ten are outstanding players and will be big acquisitions for us," says Howard Sadel, VP of Marketing for Buster Sports Communications. "MAYORMCCHEEZ is about as experienced and dynamic and as they get; his 3,400 online posts show he's also a huge fan favorite. AUTUMNTHUNDER brings something different but equally impressive to the field. He is a thinker, a true creative mastermind. He consistently finds new ways to take it the house no questions asked. Off the field his creativity also flourishes - his personal blog has some of the best farks out there," says Sadel.

As the site where "fans compete to win," BusterSports.com has scoured web sites from all BCS conferences to put together a recruiting class of the best and most prolific message posters, photo manipulators and video posters from around the country. The goal: entertainment in the form of fan vs. fan battles for team pride and recognition. The recruits might even get the opportunity to match wits with Buster's Big Ten expert Glen Mason. A complete list of the top recruits can be found by clicking the link: www.bustersports.com/recruiting.html.
