Community Safety Net, a leading provider of educational safety resources for children, is once again expanding its reach to help protect young people across the United States and Canada. The company has already provided its innovative safety materials to more than 3 million children across North America, and is currently focusing its efforts on the American Midwest — specifically Missouri and Kansas.

Community Safety Net (CSN) is a family-run, values-oriented company that produces a series of highly regarded safety resources created especially for kids and their families. CSN is currently being led by National Safety Director Corey DesJarlais, who has recently acquired the business from Gateway Group of Companies, which was founded by the late William DesJarlais in 1965.

In recent years, Community Safety Net has enhanced its educational offerings through multimedia technology, producing a series of four interactive DVDs that integrate with printed materials from CSN’s safety library. Three of the four DVDs — on the topics of Fire Safety, Personal Safety, and Rural Safety — have been recognized for excellence at the Summit International Awards Creative competition (Educational Video category).

“At CSN, our mission is to protect kids for LIFE,” says Corey DesJarlais, National Safety Director of Community Safety Net. “Our award-winning materials have been proven to help protect children from harm, while educating parents and guardians on a variety of safety topics. I look forward to leading CSN to new heights, as we expand our reach to communities across North America, and growing the number of kids whose lives we can positively impact through our high quality safety resources.”

CSN works with communities across the United States and Canada to provide children with educational safety resources. CSN’s mission is "Protecting kids for LIFE". For more information, visit http://www.communitysafetynet.com.
