TBC Retail Group Dedicates July to Raise Funds to Find Cure for Childhood Cancer
TBC Retail Group recently announced that it has dedicated the month of July to raise funds for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. Customers will have the opportunity to donate at Tire Kingdom, National Tire and Battery, Merchant's Tire and Auto Centers, and Big O Tires or on-line at www.alexslemonade.org/stands/16823. Customers who donate at a store will receive a personalized paper lemon to post at the store to show their support. Those customers who donate $5 or more will receive a coupon card with over $120.00 in savings.

Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alexandra "Alex" Scott (1996-2004). At the age of 4, Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer. Since Alex held that first stand, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a national fundraising movement, complete with thousands of volunteers across the country carrying on her legacy of hope. To date, Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, a registered 501(c)3 charity, has raised more than $25 million towards fulfilling Alex's dream of finding a cure, funding over 100 research projects nationally.
Headquartered in Juno Beach, Florida, TBC operates more than 730 company-owned stores under the brands: Tire Kingdom, NTB - National Tire and Battery, and Merchant's Tire and Auto Centers.
