CRM Studios of Las Colinas produced and directed the latest ad campaign for Glastonbury, Connecticut-based Cashman+Katz on behalf of client Pocket Wireless of San Antonio, Texas. The TV ad campaign consists of four 30-second spots shot on film throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The ads will air in Pocket Wireless markets in south Texas, Hartford, Connecticut, and Springfield, Massachusetts in both English and Spanish. The campaign is designed to increase awareness of Pocket's flat-rate, unlimited wireless calling.
The decision to use CRM Studios was based on its proven experience in wireless retailing; its ability to provide complete, turnkey service; and the strength of the on-staff talent. The spots were produced by executive producer Tom Kirkhart and directed by creative director and CEO Steve Dunning.
Each of the four humorous mini-episodes centers around three 20-somethings portraying internet news investigators. As the "Truth Crew," they stage interviews to disprove the incredible services offered by Pocket Wireless, yet fail at every effort. In the process, they highlight Pocket features like free text and pictures, roaming, no contract, feature-packed phones, and more.
