North Carolina Coastal Real Estate Tops Among Viewed Web Content, But Florida Makes Strong Comeback

Livesouth.com, a resort, retirement, and second home community search portal reveals the North Carolina Coast is still one of the most popular regions in the United States based on site visitor analytics from January 1, 2009 to June 30, 2009.

Wilmington, NC (Vocus/PRWEB ) July 3, 2009 -- In a recent analytic study of visitor traffic to www.livesouth.com, North Carolina Coastal Real Estate ranks #1 for content views. The reporting done between January 1, 2009 and June 30th, 2009 also showed a significant increase in content views for Florida Gated Communities.

While it is not surprising North Carolina was ranked #1 as other reports have shown, it is surprising that content views for Florida Gated Communities saw a 118% increase in views over the same period in 2008, and a 191% increase in page views over the same period.

While there is no singular attribute to the increase in popularity for Florida, Livesouth.com feels as though increased affordability and "deals to be had" are the driving factors behind the increase.

"Florida is finally within reach for many second home/boomer/retirement buyers where 4 years ago, it wasn't," according to Lee Hauser Jr. of RPI Media, INC. producers of Livesouth.com and Ideal Living Magazine. "There are many good deals to be had."

"The report on content views provided us with additional interesting insight, including the largest geographic region visitors are coming from is the Northeast, especially New York. If the trend continues, we could start to see the second coming of Florida as an affordable destination," adds Hauser.

Below is the complete list of the top content views on Livesouth.com by ranking order from January 1, 2009 to June 30, 2009.
