Korea Health Industry Development Institute, Be Ready for attracting Patients in States (Hold Korea Global Healthcare Conference with CKMP)

Korea Health Industry Development Institute (President Kim, Bup-Wan, KHIDI) and Council for Korea Medicine Overseas Promotion (President Sung, Sangchul, CKMP) will hold Korea Global Healthcare Conference to make promotion and exposure to attract patients in U.S. from July 16 to 18, 2009 in New York and San Francisco.

New York, NY (PRWEB) July 8, 2009 -- Korea Health Industry Development Institute (President Kim, Bup-Wan, KHIDI) and Council for Korea Medicine Overseas Promotion (President Sung, Sangchul, CKMP) will hold Korea Global Healthcare Conference to make promotion and exposure to attract patients in U.S. from July 16 to 18, 2009 in New York and San Francisco.

Korea Global Healthcare Conference aims to make promote Korean healthcare services and provide a business network for interested parties. It is going to be held along with Jeon, Jae Hee (Minister of Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs)'s tour of U.S. Also, Health Industry Institutes such as Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs, KHIDI, and CKMP, Korean Embassies in United States and Representatives of Korean-American, Korean healthcare providers, Korean companies in United States, insurance companies in United States, medical agencies will participate in the conference.

Thirteen various hospitals and clinics of CKMP and medical Tourism Facilitator will have a session to introduce policies of Korean government and as well as Korean healthcare services in the first session of this conference. The conference will also provide a chance to have a discussion about the current status of healthcare systems in U.S. and Korea, and possibilities of success of American patients to seek treatments from Korea as well as to introduce diverse current projects of American patient's movement to Korea.

Jeon, Jae-Hee (Minister of Ministry for Health, Welfare and Family Affairs) will appoint representatives of Korea Healthcare Promotion in the conference. Appropriate Korean-American will be appointed as representatives of Korea Healthcare Promotion committees and they are expected to make diverse promotional activities to introduce the excellence of Korean healthcare services.

Kim, Bup-wan (President of KHIDI) said, "Ministry for Health Welfare and Family Affairs, KIHIDI, Korean Embassies in States, healthcare industries in Korea, Korean healthcare providers in the United States, Korean industries in United States will together present the excellence and capabilities of Korea healthcare services". He also stressed, "I expect that this reliable network will allow interested parties to make publicity efficiently. At the same time it will generate diverse business models for attracting American patients to Korea."

KHIDI has been in charge of research, policy development, and execution for the enticement of foreign patients to Korea since 2005. It established global healthcare business center in April 2009 to conduct diverse projects systematically. It has also been in charge of registration of healthcare provider and medical facilitator in Korea, which aims to attract foreign patients for profits since May 1st in 2009.
