This spiritual book shares a lifelong quest for God.

In So Many Rivers to Cross, Celia Alia Brooks (of Scarborough, Ontario) shares her lifelong quest for God and desire to know Him better, which began while she was being raised in a Christian home in the Caribbean. Her family left her native country when she was thirteen, but Celia continued to seek God and, as an older teenager, dedicated her life to Christ.

Throughout her story, Celia analyzes the power of Satan, juxtaposing it with the power of God and presenting prayer as the way to overcome evil. She cites teachings from the Bible, specifically of Christ, in making her assertions, which helps heighten the credibility of her book. So Many Rivers to Cross expresses that God is waiting; people need only to accept Him, and then we will experience the life-changing benefits that await us.

A strong-minded mother of three beautiful children, Celia Alia Brooks left her country of birth, Grenada, at a young age and traveled abroad to Canada. After graduating from high school, she attended college, where she took a course in business and graduated with a degree in word processing.

Celia continued devoting her life to God and has demonstrated this through her ongoing volunteer support to seniors and the Save the Children Fund. She has since returned to college, mastering a course in medical laboratory. She presently works for one of the nation's leading medical groups. She has always enjoyed helping others, whether at home, at work, or in public places.

So Many Rivers to Cross is a 54-page paperback with a retail price of $9.00. The ISBN is 978-0-8059-7899-5. It was published by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc. of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
