Summary: Father Frank Pavone of Priests for Life provides an inspirational call for a more proactive stance by all Christians in defending the dignity of every human life. He discusses in detail two of the most controversial topics of our day, namely abortion and embryonic stem cell research, and the clear moral teaching of the Catholic Church on both of these topics.

Lighthouse Catholic Media, NFP announces the release of it's newest audio CD, "Defending Truth and Life", by Fr. Frank Pavone. Fr. Pavone is one of the most prominent pro-life leaders in the world. He is the National Director of Priests for Life, a ministry focused on helping the Church battle the attacks on human life by what Pope John Paul II called the "Culture of Death". In addition, he serves as an official of the Pontifical Council for the Family at the Vatican. This CD presents three of his homilies discussing critical life issues such as abortion, embryonic stem cell research, contraception, and more.

"Fr. Pavone was the catalyst that brought me into the Catholic Church."

  •     Norma McCorvey, the "Jane Roe" of the Supreme Court's Roe vs. Wade abortion decision.

Lighthouse Catholic Media was founded in December 2005 and has been releasing new titles every month. This new CD by Fr. Pavone continues to increase the topics and speakers that Lighthouse offers now to over 100+ titles.

Interestingly, Lighthouse Catholic Media had its largest month in its three year history in February, 2009 - during the height of the current recession - distributing over 100,000 CDs worldwide. Its second biggest month on record was March, 2009. Lighthouse Catholic Media's President, Mark Middendorf explained, "Perhaps the current economic conditions have not lessened the hunger for Catholics to come to know and love their Faith but rather, increased people's awareness of their need for God and His Church during these economically challenging times."
