Grandville Printing Company Announces National Print Network For U.S. and Canadian Retailers

The Nexgen National Print Network is select group of HP Indigo facilities located around the country that meet GPC's requirements for capacity, quality, and fast turnaround capabilities. These partner facilities have agreed to print and deliver retailers printed material that will meet Grandville Printing Company's standards and specifications. There are currently 15 printing locations in the U.S. and 3 in Canada.

We can take any retailer's data and combine logos and product pictures to produce beautiful 4-color shelf tags and end cap signs in a matter of hours. The production process is also automated so that the signs are printed, cut, and boxed by aisle location for each individual store.

One of the biggest challenges that large retailers face is printing and hanging their sale and price signs every week. Store employees can spend upward of 100 hours every week printing and hanging signs using traditional analog methods.

In 2005, Grandville Printing Company piloted the concept of centrally printing in-store sale and shelf signs on-demand with its first HP® digital presses. The model proved so successful, it quickly contracted Grandville Printing for the remaining stores.

Today, the program is in 189 supercenters utilizing a centralized, on-demand, variable data digital print process. The retailer also reports that the operational efficiencies to the in-store labor, in turn means the staff can spend more time focusing on the store's guests.
