Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) July 13, 2009
Koch Equipment LLC announced today its partnership with Thompson Meat Machinery, which has resulted in the addition of Thompson mixer/grinders to Koch's extensive line of meat and poultry processing equipment.
Koch Equipment's new line-up includes a wide array of Thompson mixer/grinders with production capacities ranging from 3,300 pounds per hour to 17,300 pounds per hour, which will enable Koch Equipment to serve the small-, mid-, large- and industrial-sized meat processors. Also included in the offering is a frozen block flaker which processes frozen meat blocks at a rate of up to 11,000 pounds per hour.
Koch Equipment's director of catalog sales, Jeff Hughes, commented, "We are pleased to exclusively represent Thompson's quality line of mixer/grinders, including several new models - many with new, lower list prices. Equipped with reliable helical gear drives, meat processors never have to worry about down time due to belt or chain failure. All of the components (feedscrews, grinding heads, lock rings, and mixing arms) are also manufactured from solid stainless steel. In addition, many models feature a unique hopper design, which results in continuous and efficient grinding without overworking the product. The results are improved particle definition and reduced temperature rise - both key attributes of high-quality meat products."
Rod Sammon, general manager, Thompson Meat Machinery, added, "We are proud to be working with professionals like those at Koch Equipment who understand the importance of product quality and superior customer service. We share the same vision at Thompson Meat Machinery, which positions us well to make a significant impact on the American market and we look forward to a long and prosperous relationship with Koch Equipment."
