Guardian Analytics, a provider of online account fraud prevention software for the financial services industry, announced today that CEO Terry Austin will deliver a presentation at the ACFE Fraud Conference and Exhibition entitled The Costly Consequences of Online Account Takeover Fraud on Monday, July 13 at 3:30 p.m. The conference, which joins anti-fraud professionals from around the world to discuss the latest methods to protect their organizations from fraud, will take place on Sunday, July 12 through Friday, July 17 at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.

In the session, Austin will provide an overview of the latest methods fraudsters are using to steal victims' online credentials, and the consequent costs to organizations and their customers. Through real-life examples of fraud attacks that have online account takeover at their roots, Austin will provide the audience with a deeper understanding of how fraudsters think and how these attacks can be prevented. Specific anecdotes that will be shared include multi-channel fraud, pump-and-dump scams and Automated Clearinghouse (ACH) fraud.
