A new Gymboree Play & Music children's development activity center featuring Parent/Child BabySigns®, Gym, Art, Music and Yoga classes will host a free open house to celebrate its grand opening in Willowbrook Plaza in (northwest) Houston, TX on Sunday, July 26 from 3:30-5:30. The new center address is Willowbrook Plaza, 17375 Tomball Parkway (Hwy. 249) in Houston, Texas 77064. Gymboree is located by the AMC Theatres, just behind the Saltgrass Steakhouse. All Houston parents in the Willowbrook area of Harris County are invited to bring their children from newborn infants through 4 years of age.

Gymboree Play & Music at Willowbrook Plaza offers a an expansive indoor adventure playground as well as a wide array of programs including kids music classes in the areas of Gym, Art, Music, Yoga, and BabySigns® classes for newborns through 4 years of age and their parent(s) or caregiver(s) accompanying them (see schedule at their local page on the company website http://www.gymboreeclasses.com/calendar.do?fCode=436&sCode=1047&mode=calendar). These classes range from 45 minutes - 2 hours. In addition to the regularly scheduled children's class-oriented group activities, Gymboree also offers parents a fabulous alternative for their child's birthday parties, as well as drop-off classes for children over 2 years old, plus "Parent's Night Out" PJ parties that allow an upgraded alternative to hiring a babysitter for limited periods at a time.

Gymboree Play & Music is sometimes called the 'Cadillac' of Houston area parent/child programs and the company has been in business nationally since 1976. Franchise owner, Adrienne Davis states, "Gymboree offers high quality programming for young children and their parent(s). All of the activities are age-appropriate and are geared specifically to the child's social, physical, and cognitive developmental stage." In reference to the facilities, Davis states "We have a large room full of tyke-sized equipment, and the children learn through play and movement to music. Gross motor skills development activities, puppets, bubbles, and song time on the large colorful parachute are all part of the weekly fun."

The new Gymboree franchise in Willowbrook Plaza is one of three Davis owns in Houston and will provide easier access to Willowbrook residents. The children's activity center boasts of over 40 pieces of tyke-sized equipment and numerous programs and ways to enjoy themselves for hours on end.

"Gymboree would like to invite Houston's young children through age four, and their parents, to come in and see how great our programs and skilled Instructors are," says the owner. Gymboree Play and Music play centers are a sister-company to the Gymboree retail store chain. The franchise fills a much-needed gap in coverage in the immediate Willowbrook Plaza service area and for much of northwest Houston.
