I invite anyone visiting the city of Hebron to stop by visit the Collel and take a few minutes to join the students in their studies. The additional hours will allow us to host many more visitors

The educational Hebron Collel (Jewish Academy) will be expanding its hours to support night time Torah study for the first times in its history. The Collel was established in 2002 and has 20 students. The students all live in the Hebron community and spend their time in study and prayer near the tombs of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
The Hebron Collel was able to expand their hours due directly from the supported of well-known philanthropist Mouli Cohen. Mr. Cohen has a long history of supporting Jewish causes, including the building of a Jewish Orphanage in Odessa, Ukraine and funding the creation of a Mivkeh in Dresden, Germany.
Until recently, because of budget constraints, and the despite the strong desire of the congregation to continue their studies at night, the Collel was operating only during the day time. With the increased funds and knowledge of the great value of studying Torah at night it was decided to expand the hours for the night time as well.
"I am proud to be part of the Collel's new initiatives. The direct relation between our contributions and ability to expand the study of the Torah is an extremely worthwhile and fulfilling result," said Mouli.
"I invite anyone visiting the city of Hebron to stop by visit the Collel and take a few minutes to join the students in their studies. The additional hours will allow us to host many more visitors," said the Collel director Rabbi Danny Cohen.
This is the second time that Mouli Cohen has donated funds, starting with the initial funding needed to establish the facility. Rabbi Yossi Nachson, Kiryat said, "I have been teaching in the Collel that Mouli Cohen established in Hebron for the past six years. His funding has given me a wonderful job and the opportunity to be part of an amazing project: a spiritual spot in the ancient cemetery in the holy city of Hebron!"
The strong spiritual feeling of the city of Hebron as well as the beautiful scenery positively affect those who work there and study and anyone who is blessed with the chance to visit it.
"I have been part of the Collel from the beginning. Learning there is really incredible and I must give credit to Mouli Cohen for sponsoring this important program" commented student Shlomo Levinger, Hebron.
